It's your road and yours alone. Others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.

PARIS

Here is a city that I lived in. I went to Paris for my studies at the Université Paris-Est Créteil Val-de-Marne. Even though the campus is located at Créteil which you can assume a suburb of Paris, I think I can say I am quite familiar with Paris. The Eiffel Tower is one the last things I would suggest, because this city offers so much. I can say almost within a year, I went around the Eiffel Tower just for twice and that’s it. The city itself is just like an outdoor museum. This is a must-see list in Paris of me. 1) Musée du Louvre 2) Cathédrale Notre-Dame 3) Montmartre and La Basilique de Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre 4) Arc De Triomphe 5) La Seine 6) Palace of Versailles 7) Jardin de Luxembourg 8) La Tour Eiffel 9) Free walk on the streets of Paris

AMSTERDAM

Amsterdam is definitely not from this world. Unique architecture and divided blocks by canals and surprisingly no traffic at all. Because almost everyone cycles. When I think now, I say fortunately I stayed in Halo because I witnessed how beautiful Netherlands is, green yards divided with water canals, Holstein cows and beautiful farms. My must-see list in this city is just walk on the streets. 1) Windmills 2) Train Station 3) Dam Square 4) Red Light District if you dare 5) Parks and museum in the city center 6) Free walk 7) Canal Tour 8) Eat waffles and fries

Istanbul Bosphorus Image
ISTANBUL

This city is both Europe and Asia. What I mean is both geographically and culturally. Istanbul is divided by Bosphorus Strait, one side is Europe and the other side Asia Minor which is also known as Anatolia. Istanbul was the capital of Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire) and then Ottoman Empire. Now it is the biggest city of Turkey. It has been a melting pot for centuries and as a result, it is so rich culturally. This city is full of delicious food, friendly people, and cats & dogs. Here’s the must-see list in Istanbul of mine. 1) Hagia Sophia 2) Blue Mosque 3) Topkapi Palace 4) Historical Peninsula, Gulhane Park 5) Grand Bazaar 6) Beyoglu, Istiklal Street, Taksim Square 7) Dolmabahce Palace 8) Ortakoy 9) Kadikoy 10) Arnavutkoy 11) Bosphorus Tour

VENICE

While visiting Milano, I and my friends thought three days are more than enough to visit Milano, so we decided to make our way to Venice, and that was fortunate. Because it’s something magical to walk through this beautiful city that was built on logs. If you’re lucky enough, which I refer to visit on day when it’s not crowded, you may feel the medieval atmosphere. The delicious Italian food, gondolas in the canals, eye catching buildings are just a few of those Venice offers. Places to visit 1) Basilica di San Marco 2) Grand Canal 3) Rialto Bridge 4) Teatro La Fenice 5) Campanile di San Marco 6) Piazza San Marco 7) Bridge of Sighs 8) Palazzo Ducale 9) Basilica di Santa Maria 10) Correr Civic Museum
